Ryzen 7 7800X3D vs Intel Core i7-14700K
The 7800X3D is the gaming champion with lower power draw and a longer platform runway, while the 14700K trades gaming margins for much stronger multicore throughput and a useful iGPU.
Fazit
The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is the pick for a gaming-first build: faster in games, cooler, quieter, and on a longer-lived platform. The Core i7-14700K makes sense when the machine doubles as a rendering or compile workstation where its extra cores earn their keep.
